Architectural Engineering Consultants was established in May of 2000.  The principals have over forty years of engineering experience put together.  We have worked together for many years and have a wide variety of important projects that we have successfully designed and seen through construction.  Some of the larger projects completed within the last year are a 10,000 square foot Beaver Creek residence utilizing geothermal heating and cooling, a 30,000 square foot mixed use development in Aspen, a 22,000 square foot commercial distribution center in Eagle-Vail and a 25,000 square foot golf clubhouse in Eagle County.

With excellent use of the computer, key staff and experience, no project is too big.  All of the design work is done using the AutoCAD software.  Further design work is completed through design calculation programs, modeling software, load programming and more.  The Internet has also improved our services, with email capabilities we are able to send and receive drawing updates immediately with out delay.  Further, our vendor’s catalogs are available to you for color specification sheets via email.

Effective working drawings come from much more than double checking the drawings before they are sent for the final printing.  Great drawings come from working closely with the design team and the construction team.  With good feedback from both contractors and the users we can target our designs to meet user needs and the construction budget.  Fifty percent of our clientele are general or sub-contractors.
