Architectural Engineering Consultants (AEC) is proud to announce that we have recently been placed in PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence. PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence is a distinction that is awarded to participating design firms which rank in the top 20% nationally on 11 performance benchmarks.
This is a significant milestone for AEC. Beginning with AEC's conception over 9 years ago, we have always sought feedback on the services that we provide. For the last 5 years we have been using PSMJ Resources (www.psmj.com) industry surveys to gauge where our business stands within the essential benchmarks of our industry. The basic surveys from PSMJ are:

- Fees & Pricing Survey
- Financial Performance Survey
- Salary Surveys
Other surveys we participate in are from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Zwieg White, and Professional Engineering (PE). All of these surveys have been instrumental in establishing good business and design practices to better serve our clients and our employees. That feedback on a consistent basis has helped us to refine our business practices and enabled us to establish our business as a leader in the industry, as PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence recognizes.
It is AEC's priority to continually review our business, scrutinize how we do our designs and the services that we provide to our clients, and ask how we can do it better. When we are onsite with the contractor, we question them, “How do our drawings look?” and “How can we improve our design?” When working with our architectural clients, we map out the project timeline from the start to ensure the best design and coordination with other disciplines.
